Sometimes, It’s Your Fault Too: How to Avoid Sexual Harassment

One of the myths of sexual harassment say that women “ask for it” by the way they look, dress, and behave. Rabid feminists would bare their teeth and say that this is a lie; I say it is both true and false. Granted, women are susceptible to harassment no matter how they look or what they do. BUT women aren’t completely blameless either. Men usually get their social cues and react according to the signals women give them - it’s basic social psychology. And if you’re prancing around in a roomful of drunk guys wearing a tiny skirt that barely covers your ass - well I’m sorry, but you really are asking for a lot of trouble.
It’s really not that difficult to avoid situations that could lead to sexual harassment, though. Here are five simple things that you can do in order to prevent guys from getting the wrong idea about you:
