Writer’s Block: The inability to form coherent and witty sentences. Getting stuck with sub-par phrasing. Writing like a simpleton or not writing at all.
A friend once asked: “why is it that writers are the only people who constantly experience writer’s block?” Well, it’s not that writers are the only ones who experience the dreaded writer’s block, it’s just that writers tend to take that “literary pause” personally. (How else are you supposed to take it?)

Did you know that a “one night stand” (ONS) used to connote a single-night theater show? Today, one night stands have taken a whole different meaning—a single-night, casual sexual encounter that feels good for some but leaves others feeling about as clean as a used, STD-ridden condom afterwards. It’s the latter that makes people stop to ask the question if a one-night stand is worth having or not.
Now, I’m not about to answer that question for you because it’s your life, and I don’t see why you’d care about what a total stranger has to think about your business. However, I’ll give you two things to think about before you give in to your desires: why do you want to go on a one-night stand? And how do you think you’ll react afterwards?

Work burnout happens when you’re no longer happy with what you’re doing. It could be your officemates, the stress of the job, or your overbearing boss that’s making you want to crawl back into bed every Monday morning and wait for Saturday to emerge again.
Going to a job which you hate is never an easy thing. You’re probably having that dream sequence of smashing every single computer in the office into tiny bits while your boss gives you instructions. For some people, a personal favorite would be imagining the boss’s head swelling to the size of a watermelon before exploding. Or you can pull an Ally McBeal and dance with imaginary baby cupids in diapers.
If you’re like most people who hate their jobs, you’re simply waiting for a better deal that’s going to come along. The fact is, your job helps you pay your bills. If you ever feel like you’re the only person in the world who has had dreams of becoming an Indie artist or living the bohemian lifestyle, then you would be wrong. But just like you, other bohemians-at-heart, have responsibilities to take care of and bills to pay.
